Aids Day observed

 
He was speaking at the programme organised at the sub-jail in Kolar on Tuesday as part of World Aids Day celebration. The programme was organised jointly by Care organisation, Young India Integrated Welfare Foundation.

There is an need to create awareness among public about HIV and Aids. Health Department and other organisations should work in this respect, he said.

Sri Devraj Urs Medical College Blood Bank department in-charge Dr Govindaraju inaugurated the programme. District Youth Janatadal President M B Mubarak spoke on the occasion. Care Organisation President K Narendra Babu, Venkatesh, Nehru Yuva Kendra Roopa and Pankaja and others were present.
