<p>Shrutiyaan and ‘Pandit’ Chatur Lal Memorial Society are presenting Muskurahat, a classical music concert dedicated to tabla maestro Pandit Chatur Lal, on March 14, 7 pm at Indiranagar Club, 9th Main, 4th Cross, Indiranagar.<br /><br /></p>.<p>On the occasion, there will be a sitar recital by Pandit Shubhendra Rao, accompanied on tabla by Pranshu Chatur Lal with flute legend Hari Prasad Chaurasia and Pandit Vijay Ghate on tabla and a blending with live painting by Sandhya K Sirsi.<br /><br />The concert series have been named Muskurahat as an initiative to celebrate womanhood and create an awareness to encourage remarriage. Pandit Chatur Lal was an internationally acclaimed percussionist.<br /><br />He was also the first Indian percussionist to be Oscar nominated and was a Bafta award winner with Pandit Ravi Shankar in 1955 for giving music in the Canadian movie ‘A Chairy Tale’. </p>
