Facing severe heat from Congress leaders for comments made by his younger brother Pawan Kalyan, actor-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi, who is campaign in charge of Seemandhra, reacted cautiously here on Saturday.
A day after Pawan Kalyan launched the Jana Sena and gave a call to decimate the Congress for its divisive politics, Chiranjeevi said nobody can destroy the 127-year-old Congress. Chiranjeevi said, “Many people had earlier called for banishing the Congress, but what has happened?”
Speaking to the media at the party headquarters here, Chiranjeevi praised the Congress as the one which enabled Pawan to claim that he is as an Indian.
