Guv visits Karwar naval base

The Governor, who arrived at the district in an aircraft from Bangalore via Goa was received by Deputy Commissioner N S Channappa Gowda. After receiving the Guard of honour from the police near the Deputy Commissioner’s office, he proceeded towards the naval base.

INS Aditya, the replenishment and repair ship, has anchored at sea near the Kadamba naval base, as part of the celebrations.

On December 19, the Naval band will perform in a concert at Tagore beach in Karwar. A booklet on the Seabird Naval Project will also be released on the occasion.
