Offering a variety of culinary options, Hot Soup & Bowl in Vijayanagar satiates the hunger pangs of many.

This eatery, which offers North Indian, Chinese and some options in Continental cuisine, is a place to explore and indulge your taste buds.

The eatery, which was started by Gururaj N and Ramnath N, offers many items as starters as well as main course. “We decided to have different cuisines as we wanted our customers to have a lot of options to choose from,” says Gururaj.

Ask him about the kind of customers visiting the eatery and he says that all sorts of people come in. “There are many youngsters who come here. The families visit here in the evenings,” he says.

Gururaj says that the most popular items here include the tandoor items and the Chinese starters. “There are lots of people who come for our momos. There are a couple of places which provide this, but we offer fresh ones,” he says.

Ask the partners about the eatery’s name and Ramnath says that the name clearly explains what it has to offer. “We have soups on our menu. We also wanted to say that we offer gravies and other items. Thus came the name,” says Ramnath.

Highlighting one speciality of the eatery, Ramnath says that the eatery is very customer-friendly and open to customisation. He says, “With many offerings having different spice levels, we make changes for the customers according to their needs. We also suggest different dishes to them according to their preference.”

In Chinese cuisine, one shouldn’t miss soups like ‘chicken dim sum clear soup’, ‘chicken tom yum soup’ and ‘veg manchow soup’.

The noodles, like in most Chinese cuisine, is something worth trying with spicy ‘limfu noodles’, ‘veg steam noodles with hunan sauce’, ‘chicken garlic noodles’ and other items on the menu.
North Indian delicacies like stuffed kulcha, veg makhanwala, aloo mutter mushroom dry, kur kure bhindi, mutton rogan josh, murgh do pyaza are the other items available. ‘Cheese balls’, ‘spicy chicken strips’, different pasta and risotto options are worth indulging in too. Gururaj and Ramnath are open to suggestions and always make it a point to ask a customer about their impressions.

“When new customers walk in, we ask them to give us their honest opinion. It’s something absolutely necessary in this field,” the partners wrap up.
This eatery is located at No 33, BHCS Layout, opposite Union Bank of India, Chandra Layout, Vijayanagar.
