The three-day Karnataka State Bridge Championship will be held at Palace Grounds from June 6. The event, organised by Karnataka State Bridge Association (KSBA) will see over 200 participants from across the country.
“Since Bangalore is a popular venue and has an edge over other places in terms of weather and hospitality, KSBA has decided to conduct the event in City,” KSBA President S Vaidyanathan said.
Vaidyanathan said registrations will commence a week before June 6. The three-day event will include Swiss league-team of four, pair event, board A match and IMP pairs events.
Meanwhile, the City League Bridge Championships has 18 teams from Bangalore and five teams from Mysore participating. The quarter, semi and finals are scheduled at Mysore Golf Club on May 17 and 18.
The four top teams will participate in the National League Championships at Pune on June 29 and 30.
