Abandoned kid gets eye sight

The 15-month old baby underwent a successful one-hour cornea transplant surgery at the Narayana Nethralaya on Friday.

The boy had lost his sight when ants and rodents had attacked him as a four-day old infant abandoned on the campus.

Dr Yatish, Corneal surgeon who operated on the boy said, "Srinivas will be able to see perfectly after four months."
