<p>Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan might have played James Bond in four of the films, but he feels that his performance as the iconic British spy was never good enough.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The 60-year-old actor, who appeared as James Bond in 'GoldenEye', 'Tomorrow Never Dies', 'The World Is Not Enough' and 'Die Another Day', said he struggled to portray the super-suave spy like the previous Bond actors Sean Connery and Roger Moore, Daily Telegraph.<br /><br />"I felt I was caught in a time warp between Roger and Sean. It was a very hard one to grasp the meaning of, for me. But then that might have had to do with my own insecurities in playing him as well," Brosnan said.<br /><br />"I have no desire to watch myself as James Bond. 'Cause it's just never good enough. It's a horrible feeling," he added.<br /><br />Brosnan, who was replaced by Daniel Craig as the spy, said he is happy to be slowly losing the stereotype of Bond through his recent work.<br /><br />"There's enough time between me being James Bond and now. Daniel is James Bond; I was James Bond," he said. </p>
