Abhishek powers Young Lions

Abhishek Poll produced a fine all-round show as Young Lions Club roared to a thumping 206-run win over Mount Joy CC in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II and III under-16 inter-club cricket tournament.

Young Lions, riding on Abhishek’s 79 and equally good knocks from Deepak S (78) and Rahul HS (75 n.o.), posted an impressive 351/1 in their allotted 50 overs.

Abhishek then returned to haunt with the ball, scalping five for 40 as Mount Joy collapsed to 145 all out in 40.5 overs. Aman Khan also did well, grabbing 3/24.
