<div>The annual college day celebrations of St Anne’s Degree College, Ulsoor was celebrated recently. <br /><div> </div><div>Geetha Verghese, SBI coordinator for youth for India, was the chief guest. Sr Margret Julie, vice-president, who presided over the event, stressed on the importance of inculcating leadership skills amongst the youth, while delivering her address. <br /><br /></div><div>The day is earmarked in the calendar to felicitate students, who have done outstanding academic, sports and extra-curricular performances, by presenting them with trophies and certificates. <br /><br /></div><div>There was a cultural extravaganza with scintillating dance performances. A mime act with the theme ‘Empowering through excellence’ was a treat to watch. <br /><br /></div><div>The programme culminated with a unique rendition of the national anthem in sign language by the BSc (Rehabilitation) students.</div></div>
