Recognising great achievements

The annual college day celebrations of St Anne’s Degree College, Ulsoor was celebrated recently. 

 

Geetha Verghese, SBI coordinator for youth for India, was the chief guest. Sr Margret Julie, vice-president, who presided over the event, stressed on the importance of inculcating leadership skills amongst the youth, while delivering her address. 

The day is earmarked in the calendar to felicitate students, who have done outstanding academic, sports and extra-curricular performances, by presenting them with trophies and certificates. 

There was a cultural extravaganza with scintillating dance performances. A mime act with the theme ‘Empowering through excellence’ was a treat to watch. 

The programme culminated with a unique rendition of the national anthem in sign language by the BSc (Rehabilitation) students.
