CoD probe into Komul thefts

It is said that the authority to hand over the investigation to CoD was delegated to the Komul president Jayasimha Krishnappa and Managing Director Shivareddy in a Board meeting held recently. The involvement of officers in the theft of milk cartons from cold storage unit at Tamaka had come to light during the inquiry. The stolen milk was found to have been sold in in Devanahalli. It has been decided to hand over the investigation into this case to CoD if that by the local police is found to be not satisfactory. A few directors reportedly voiced their opposition to the decision.
