<p>Sir M Vishweswaraya Institute of Technology organised its Annual Day recently. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The college magazine Brindavana was released on the day and cash prizes worth Rs 7 lakh were given to outstanding students in the fields of sports and academics. <br /><br />Four students who secured university ranks, gold medal and cash awards worth Rs 2 lakh were awarded. <br /><br />The award distribution also included gold medals with certificates that were given to 179 students for having secured distinction in all semesters, cash awards to students who <br />secured 80 per cent and above marks.</p>
