BMS College of Engineering hosted a grand farewell function for its outgoing students, over the weekend, at the college’s indoor stadium on Bull Temple Road. Principal Dr Mallikharjuna Babu greeted the crowd and gave a short speech.
Students wore exquisite dresses and proudly spoke about their experiences in the college. Karthik from MTech department shared, “The faculty members of the college are immensely talented and were very supportive throughout our college years. The encouragement that we got from college in every field made our campus life very special.”
The juniors gave a warm farewell to their seniors with a colourful and entertaining cultural programme. Swati, a chemical engineering student, said, “We may still not be 100 per cent sure as to what our mission in life is.
But what we do know for sure is that the time we’ve spent here was one of the best times of our lives. We will really miss the college.” Clicking group pictures and selfies was the order of the day towards the end of the function and most students seemed quite busy doing just that!
