'Home Guards should continue their services'

 
He was speaking after receiving the guard of honour at the district police parade ground on Friday on the occasion of Home Guards Day.

“Home Guards provide efficient service to the society”, he said.

In Charge district SP S R Phanindra Singh said the services of Home Guards that support the police is worth emulating.

Excise deputy commissioner T R Jayasimha was the chief guest. Home Guards’ former commandant B Suresh as a special invitee. District commandant B Mariswamy presided over the function.

Senior division commander N Thiruvengadam, second commandant Purushottam and deputy commandant E Narayanappa were present on the occasion.
