<p>A drunken brawl over a petty issue ended in a murder at Gavipuram in the Hanumanthnagar police limits on Sunday night. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The victim is Deepu, 25, a resident of Sampangiramanagar. He was allegedly murdered by his friend Gangadhar and his four associates. <br /><br />The police have launched an operation to arrest them.<br /><br />Deepu, Gangadhar and his associates went to a bar and restaurant. They came out drunk and Deepu picked a quarrel with Gangadhar over a petty issue after raking up an old matter. Gangadhar took out a knife, stabbed Deepu and fled with his associates.Deepu was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, the police said.<br /><br /> The victim was a bar bender in JC Nagar. He had moved to Sampangiramnagar recently. He had come to Gavipuram for a local religious festival, the police said.<br /></p>
