<p>The High Court on Friday extended the interim stay on eviction of Jai Bhuvaneshwari Nagar slum till Monday and posted the matter for orders.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Justice Ashok B Hinchigeri asked the advocate representing the Karnataka Slum Clearance Board to submit the original copy of the notification issued by the Board for eviction. <br /><br />The bench sought information about who had authorised the notification and who had signed it and if the notification was published in the newspaper. <br /><br />During the hearing, Advocate General Ravivarma Kumar submitted that they are bound to evict the slum dwellers as per rules and the notification. <br /><br />The court had ordered stay on the eviction of only those slum dwellers, around 300 families who have approached the court. <br /><br />The HC had earlier directed the slum dwellers to vacate the slum located inside Nimhans campus.</p>
