Sandalwood’s heartthrob Chetan’s latest movie Suryakaanti is all set to hit the screens this month end. The movie has Chetan in some real action sequences. The movie also portrays the romantic side of Chetan.
 
Chetan shared with Metrolife his experiences of shooting for the film and the choice of location. Some of the songs and the action shots were shot in Uzbekistan. The locals of the place were also roped in for authenticity, some of whom are international boxing champions and have won accolades at international sporting events. “It was a fight sequence and I had to jump high up in the air and kick the biggest among them on the chest,” he said recollecting his experience and added, “but when I jumped, I kicked him real hard on his jaw and broke a few teeth. He started bleeding and it freaked me out.”
Speaking about the food, Chetan said, “We really don’t know what we ate there. The menu read something and we interpreted it in some other way. But while we were shooting there, the weather was pleasant because it was summer.”

Chetan said they chose Uzbekistan for its scenic beauty. What’s interesting is that the crew chanced upon a street which was named after Lal Bahadur Shastri.
