ADR cell lauded

The mediation and conciliation to resolve business disputes commenced at the ADR Cell on Monday at the FKCCI.

Speaking on the occassion, the President of the Advocates Association, Bangalore, K N Puttegowda said that mediation through ADR was beneficial to everybody including lawyers. “If mediation is used instead of prolonged legal battles, both sides will come out as winners. It saves both time and money for everybody,” he said.

Puttegowda also said that ADR can be used effectively to bring down pendencies at the courts. The Governor of Rotary International District 3190, S Nagendra was also present at the commencement.
