Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar was left flabbergasted on receiving an e-mail from a youth seeking action against a person responsible for “inflicting” HIV-AIDS on him.

The youth sought action against that person for making him suffer from the deadly aliment. The commissioner shared the content of the e-mail with his subordinates in the Central Crime Branch (CCB) and directed them to take action.

The CCB, acting on the commissioner’s instructions, raided a massage parlour and arrested two persons for running a prostitution racket. The suspects are Zakaullah, 34, a resident of R T Nagar, and Sameer, 20, a native of West Bengal.

The man identified by the youth as responsible for inflicting AIDS on him is absconding and a search is on for him, the police said.

The youth, in his e-mail, narrated how he ended up suffering from HIV-AIDS. “I, along with my friend, went to Brigade Spa at Brigade Platinum apartment, II Stage Domlur, 4th Main, 2nd B Cross, Indiranagar, for massage on June 8. There was a person named Usman. He took Rs 25,000 from us and arranged two girls. We spent time with the two girls and returned,” he said.

The youth stated that he suffered from severe fever in the days that followed. He went for a medical examination and the doctor collected his blood for test. The youth was shocked when the blood test report indicated he was suffering from HIV/AIDS.

He concluded that he spent time with a girl who was suffering from HIV-AIDS, and hence invited the ailment. He also said Usman was responsible for his “current fate”.During the raid, the police rescued four girls from Mumbai and Kolkata and recovered four cellphones and Rs 900 in cash.

Usman brought girls from other states and operated a brothel in the name of a massage parlour, the police said.
