KPCC Chief hints at reshuffle of Siddaramaiah Ministry

Last Updated 19 June 2014, 10:48 IST

Ruling Congress in Karnataka today hinted at a reshuffle of the Siddaramaiah Ministry after the upcoming legislature session is over as voices are being raised within the party against some Ministers on different issues.

"We have received lot of suggestions regarding how to fulfill promises made by the party to the people and take the state to number one position once again. Keeping all this in mind, after this session we will do some fine tuning," KPCC President G Parameshwara told reporters here.

"There are also chances of reshuffle, because we have heard some voices about non-performance of few of them. In order to clear it, there might be a situation where we may have to go for a minor reshuffle," he said.

"Chief Minister and I will discuss with our leadership about this in the days to come and take a decision," he added.

In the inconclusive Congress Legislature Party meeting here yesterday, legislators reportedly expressed unhappiness about the functioning of a few ministers, including their inaccessibility. The CLP would meet again on June 23, when the month-long legislature session begins.
