<p>The seventh season of the singing talent hunt show, ‘Voice of Bangalore’ was held in the City recently. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The event saw some fresh talent participating. What added to the charm of the event was the presence of Sandalwood actor Yash who graced the occasion and even performed for a full house. <br /><br />The event also had dancing sensation Disha Madan perform with the stars. <br />The event served as a perfect platform for budding talents to interact with the who’s who of the Kannada film industry. <br /><br />They not only got a chance to interact with the people from the industry but also learn more about the functioning of the same. <br /><br />Playback singer Rajesh Krishnan, the brand ambassador for ‘Voice of Bangalore’, was also present on the occasion. <br /><br />Winners of Season 6 of ‘Voice of Bangalore’, Vijeth and Jinsha sang a medley of old and new Hindi and Kannada songs.<br /><br />The auditions for the contest are being held at Sri Krishna College campus from July 15 onwards. <br /><br />Other venues include SJR Women’s College, PES College, Garuda Mall and venues at Mandya, Mysore and Tumkur. <br /><br />The auditions will be conducted over 90 days and selected contestants will be trained by singer Rajesh Krishnan. <br /><br />In two separate quarter-finals, to be held at Garuda Mall, eight male and eight female contestants will be selected for the semi-finals. <br /><br />Of these five, each will be selected for the semi-finals. In the final round, three male and female singers will be selected. <br /><br />The winners, male and female, of the final rounds will be crowned, ‘Voice of Bangalore’ besides being presented with a car. ‘Voice of Bangalore’, which commenced in 2007 has witnessed more than 45,000 singers auditioning on stage over the last six seasons. <br /><br />The winners of the previous seasons have made their mark as singers in the film industry.<br /></p>
