<p>The restaurant workers are readying for new innings on a new turf – Brigade Gardens on Church Street. <br /><br />The restaurant will occupy the space Japanese eating place Dahlia operated in. With the interior work for the kitchen almost complete, it might not be too long before we hear – ‘one hot, one BB, one single omelette -toast’.<br /><br />The restaurant which had evoked lot of emotion among its ardent fans and employees while it was closed down, is assured to receive a grand response as it will kick start again, quite soon.<br /><br />Looking forward<br /><br />“We have already signed the agreement and are looking forward to start serving,” Coffee House Manager Mahesh told Deccan Herald, adding that they are looking at Monday (May 25) as the opening date.<br /><br />While the workers are happy, the regulars are buoyant. “I have ran out of words, just like I did when the Coffee House was closed,” said Richa Ranjan, a regular. <br /><br />Just not the same<br /><br />“It did not seem the same without Coffee House. The last three months have been really miserable in the mornings,” she added.<br /><br />“We have tried coffee at different places as we had no choice, but there was something lacking. There is something about that place and now we will be back to normal soon,” said interior designers Rajesh and Bernard.<br /><br />New items to be added<br /><br />The cooperative is also looking at adding more items to its menu, breaking the long tradition. The fresh items may include plate-meals for lunch, among other things contemplated by the management. However, that will take some time, as the business must pick up, Mahesh said.<br /></p>
