The device is operated with a SIM card which is installed between switch and electrical pump set. With an SMS command or by making a call, the pump set can be turned on or off. The device also helps in remotely checking the state of the pump set.
Micro Technologies Chairman & Managing Director P Sekhar said that the devices which cost between Rs 2,000 and Rs 8,000 depending on the features, and will be manufactured at the Mahape facility in Navi Mumbai.
