Support group for cancer

Pink Hope Breast Cancer Support Group was launched here, on Saturday, to provide a platform for those diagnosed with breast cancer, survivors and their families to discuss and share experiences. Supported by HCG Foundation, the support group will meet on the fourth Saturday of every month.

The group aims to share experiences, provide psychological support and help new patients prepare for breast cancer month. It will also help new patients understand the nuances of breast cancer, dispel myths and assure them of proper treatment.

Issues relating to fear of relapse, dealing with hair loss, and physical changes, diet and exercise were discussed.
