<p>The Bangalore University along with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) and other national research institutes will establish a consortium for the development of an Institute of Excellence of Science and Biotechnology.<br /><br />The consortium will pool resources and infrastructure to participate in the academic activities of the university including the proposed B S course. As part of the agreement, a state-of-the-art central instrumentation facility will be established at the varsity’s campus. The facility is expected to cost around Rs 20 crore.</p>
