Beauty parlour owner murdered

A 38-year-old woman, Nasreena Sultana, was found dead with her throat slit at her residence in Govindpura under K G Halli Police limits on Friday afternoon.

The deceased used to run a beauty parlour and was residing along with her three children. Her husband Imtiyaz Pasha lives in Dubai.

The incident took place when her eldest son had gone to attend prayers, while the other two children were at school.

The incident came to light when the eldest son Zubeid Pasha returned home and found the main door open.

He found his mother lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen with her throat slit .
He informed his neighbours who alerted the police.

‘Suspect is known to her’

“It seems someone known to her has committed the crime, as there is no forceful entry. She was preparing tea when murdered as the stove was on. It is suspected that the miscreants and Sultana might have discussed something minutes before she was killed. The miscreants have entered the house finding Sultana alone,” police said.

The police are trying to find out if any valuables or cash is missing.

They are gather information from neighbours and friends to find out if there was any regular or particular visitor to her house.

They are yet to ascertain if she was a divorcee. Her relatives, however, say her husband is working in Saudi Arabia, police said. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
