CRY unveils snapshots by children

Child Rights & You (CRY), on Monday, launched — ‘Click Rights’, a photo book containing snapshots by 20 children, engaged in labour, who had participated in CRY’s photography workshop. 

The photographs are displayed at malls, corporate spaces and colleges to create awareness among people and urge them to pledge against child labour. 

Briefing reporters, CRY (South) Regional Director Suma Ravi said Click Rights is being used as a tool to create awareness and connected issues. CRY has also prepared a set of recommendations to be submitted to the government. 

It includes — abolition of all forms of child labour, extension of Right to Free & Compulsory Education Act, 2009 up to 18 years.
