<p>The father of a 15-year-old boy has lodged a complaint with Cubbon Park Police on Monday that his son was slapped by the school principal.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The student studying in Stracey Memorial School was slapped by principal Kribanandan, a couple of days ago. <br /><br />It is said the principal just walked into the classroom and slapped the boy. <br /><br />The parents on noticing their son moody, enquired the reason and the boy explained the incident. Subsequently, the boy’s father lodged a complaint. <br /><br />Since it's a non-cognisable offence, the police have obtained court's permission to carry out criminal procedure against the principal. <br /><br />Engineer killed in mishap<br /><br />A 24-year-old software engineer was killed in a road accident near Sarjapura Main Road under Madiwala Traffic Police limits on Wednesday afternoon.<br /><br />The deceased, Sandeep Singh, 24, a native of Delhi, came under the wheels of the lorry, when it rammed the bike he was riding pillion with his friend Jiju, 24. <br /><br />Singh succumbed to his injuries, while Jiju, suffered minor injuries. The driver fled, abandoning the vehicle.</p>
