Rajya Sabha BJP MP Suryakant Acharya died early this morning at his residence in Junagadh, party sources said.
Acharya (80) was in a critical condition for the last four days due to age-related ailments, they said.
He had served at various state level post in Gujarat BJP.
Acharya, a member of the RSS, was among the think-tanks of the BJP in Gujarat and was considered close to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
