Flaunt the earthy tone

Last Updated 10 August 2014, 15:10 IST

It has earthy warm accents with laces, sublimation prints, flocked fabrics and monochromatic details.

Warm and colourful shades of inky blues, rouge and deep pinks merge with ornate patterns, embellished laces and beaded necklines to render an exotic yet stylish statement. “The collection is a rich combination of chic and comfort clothing paired with impeccable accessories and footwear for that perfect autumn look,” says Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Max.

“Women can choose from a variety of earthy accents in cross stitch embroideries and paisley motifs to create the Boho autumn look. Printed leggings, border printed tops and placement graphics, merge historical techniques and aesthetics with a modern twist.

A key ingredient is monochromes. The silky polyester crepes and georgettes can be worn over printed satin stretch pants for a solid look,” he adds.

“There are floral prints and the ethnic ‘Tavisha range’, which consists of contemporary sets in bright and light prints enhanced with embroideries. A special red and white collection brightens up your Durga pooja, using blends of block prints and embroideries. With cuts ranging from Anarkali to a-line, the pre-autumn collection consists of themes such as baroque sentiments and colour block,” he explains.

The men’s wear consists of printed chinos and double dyed pants stand. Checked shirts and solid tees with smart detailing in trendy colours witness an energetic comeback. Men can also go for the ‘Cosmic Punch’, which has space motifs; uber-cool ‘slanguage’ and backgrounds highlighting the graphic detailing.

Max offers a range of fresh, comfortable and colourful outfits for children too. A unique mix of blush oranges with corals for little girls, while cobalts with burgundies and a dash of black for teens and cute florals, neon accents, aztecs and galaxy prints rule to the girls collection.

The classy Prepster look with colour blocking, quilting and appliqué, space and funny cartoon like characters inspires a very strong look for the boys.
