Danush knock spurs Shantiniketan

 An all-round effort from Danush SN guided Shantiniketan Trust School (MICO Layout) to post a massive 145-run victory over BM English School in the KSCA Cup (Group 3) under-16 cricket tournament. 

Batting first, riding on Danush’s 95, Shantiniketan Trust posted a respectable 264/6 in their stipulated 30 overs. 

Danush then impressed with the ball too as his 3-14 helped dismiss BM English for a modest 119 in 29 overs.

Elsewhere, a fine all-round performance by Niranjan (3/22 and 56) powered BP Indian High School, Nelamangala, score a five-wicket win over BP Indian High School, Mall­eswaram.

Nagarjuna Vidyaniketan: 115/4 in 17 overs (Pradhu 40; Shramith 2-19) lost to Alpine Public School: 118/2 in 15.4 overs (Naveed 44 n.o.; Namith 2-27).

BP Indian School (Malleswaram): 182 all out in 29 overs (Sanath K 31, Venkatesh A 40; Manoj BR 2-20, Deekshith 3-30, Niranjan 3-22) lost to BP Indian High School (Nelamangala): 183/5 in 22 overs (Niranjan 56; Vishnu 3-29, Shivang Singh 2-22).
