Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday received a hard blow from none other than Shanti Bhushan, who has been his mentor since India Against Corruption days and a founder member of the party.
The eminent lawyer, while admitting to Kejriwal’s significance, said the AAP convener “lacks organisational skills” and even suggested that he should give the task of building the party to someone else.
However, in a statement, the party rejected his contention and termed it “misplaced”. The party also rejected allegations of lack of internal democracy and said it was “unfortunate” that senior Bhushan made his remark in public.
Meanwhile, Shanti Bhushan also told television channels that Kejriwal is the right person to be the “face of the party”.
