B A Mohammed Hanif has been re-appointed as president of the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy with a seven-member team. The government had annulled their appointments this June, following which the former chairpersons had approached the courts.<br /><br />Kulyada Girish of Madikeri has been appointed president of Arebhashe Samskruti Sahitya Academy and Biddathanda Thimmaiah the president of Kodava Sahitya Academy. The appointments are for a tenure of three years.</p>
