<p>The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested the associates of notorious rowdy-sheeter Tanveer Ahmed when they were allegedly planning to attack a rival gang.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, based on a tip-off, the CCB officers arrested Sajjad Hussain, 40; Fairoz Pasha, 32; Mohammed Tausif, 28; Rafi-ur-Rahman, 30, and recovered assault weapons and a car. They were planning to attack Tanveer’s rival Ishtiaq Pahalwan and his associates who were expected to arrive near HKBK College. <br /><br />The police, who were tipped off, reached the spot and arrested the four.<br /><br />All of them have several assault cases registered against them at various police stations in the City.</p>
