Cathedral made 200 for eight from their 50 overs, Shival the principal contributor as Abhiram finished with figures of four for 36. Vidyashilp rode on useful contributions through the order but were bowled out for exactly 200 with 28 deliveries left unutilised.

Vinay sparkles

Vinay finished with a rich haul of six for 18 to bowl South End Sports Club to a comfortable eight-wicket win over Palar Sports Club in the KSCA Group I Division V tournament for the Sri JB Mallaradhya Trophy.

As Skanda chipped in with three for 50, Palar were rolled over for just 124 in 33 overs. South End rode on an unbeaten 58 by Manu to cruise to 128 for two in only the 22nd over.
