Kudos for Shobha's work

The compliments came in the wake of her work in the flood affected areas, outlined by BJP MLC N Shankarappa who said that Shobha was the first person to visit Raichur district and worked constantly to see that gruel centres and shelters were opened to assist the distressed.

JD(S) leader M C Nanaiah said that someone who had clearly worked so hard, was sacrificed and made a political pawn. He went on to say that the CM on Thursday should swear her in as the Minister instead. Opposition Leader V Ugrappa declared that the CM had shed tears twice, once when he met the family of those killed in Haveri firing incident and the other time, when he could not manage to retain Shobha Karandlaje and V P Baligar.
