H D Revanna and H C Balakrishna (JDS) said the Mutt had violated rules by encroaching forest land in Hosadu village of Honnavar taluk in Uttara Kannada district. In Haniya village of Hosanagar taluk, Shimoga district, the Mutt had encroached 120 acres of government land, they alleged. The members requested Speaker Bopaiah to allow them to make a preliminary submission on an adjournment motion. The Speaker allowed the discussion.
