The incident occurred when the victim was on her way to meet her husband and handover him lunch box. The suspects, who had come in an auto-rickshaw, accosted her between TC Palya and Kalkere. They bundled her into the auto and took her to an apartment where they raped her.

Later, they took her to an under-construction building and raped her again, police said. The victim, however, managed to escape from there and narrated the incident to her husband who then approached the police.

Based on the details provided by the woman, the police arrested the four from their workplace.
