Traffic restrictions to regulate holiday rush tomorrow

The traffic police will impose the following restrictions on Saturday in view of a large turnout of passengers towards the Kempgeowda bus station and the City railway station due to the holiday season.

The following restrictions would be imposed to ensure smooth vehicular flow on roads.
n Parking of private vehicles on Dhanvanthri Road, Railway Station Road, Tank Bund Road, Platform Road and Khoday’s Junction will be banned.

Buses towards Mysore and Kodagu will originate from Mysore Road satellite bus station.

Buses towards Tamil Nadu will originate from Shanthinagar bus terminal.

Buses towards Davangere will originate from Chikka Lalbagh bus terminal.
There will be temporary ban on parking of buses from far-off places at Balekai Mandi, Jakkarayanakere, NGEF and New Peenya bus terminal.

Instead of private vehicles, the public has been advised to depend on BMTC buses and auto-rickshaws to reach railway station and KBS to avoid congestion.
