<p> Vincent, who had robbed Rs 16.61 lakh from Jaffer Shariff, a cash collecting agent at Radiant Cash Management Services, was arrested and the money recovered by the Bommanahalli Outpost police.<br /><br /></p>.<p>On September 29, at around 12.15 pm, Shariff was in the parking lot of Vishal Megamart on Hosur Road, taking out of his two-wheeler after collecting cash from a megamart. Vincent came from behind, threw chilli powder on Shariff's face and snatched away the leather bag containing cash.<br /><br /> Passersby who noticed Shariff shouting for help rushed to his rescue and shifted him to a private hospital. A few chased Vincent who fled the spot in his car, the police said.The police said Vincent had worked in Vishal Megamart around a year ago as a manager and recently quit the job. He was aware about Shariff collecting cash and planned the attack.<br /><br /> Passersby, who rescued Shariff, had noted down the suspect’s car registration number. The CCTV footage was also examined and when cross-checked with the clues obtained, the police concluded that Vincent had committed the crime.</p>
