Jyotsna (24), a teacher at ICFAI, Koramangala, was found hanging with her saree at her residence in Duo Heights Layout  when her husband Biju, an employee of a private company in Indiranagar was away.

Jyotsna's father Gopinath and mother came to her house after visiting a temple. When their repeated calls on the door were not answered, they informed the police who broke the door open. Police said Jyotsna might have taken the extreme step unable to bear harassment by her husband. Electronics City police have registered a case.

Temple burgled

Thieves struck at a temple by breaking open its locks and made away with 2 kgs of silver ornaments, worth Rs 60,000, near KG Halli Circle here on Friday night.

Police said thieves gained entrance to Venkateshwara temple through the rear compound wall and then broke open several locks before fleeing with the valuables. The incident came to light when the temple priest came to open the temple on Saturday morning.  A case has been registered.
