<p>As many as seven persons were killed in head-on collision between a tanker and multiutility vehicle near Kumbarahalli Gate in Chittapur taluk on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p> The deceased, Nagu Anwar, Pramod Sungalkar, Kasheenath Thalak, Yellappa Poojary, Dugappa, Shivu Hulinayaka and Raju Nakkal, were returning to Yadgir after taking part in a programme at Shahabad, Chittapur taluk. <br /><br />The accident occurred after the tanker proceeding towards Wadi rammed a Bolero coming from the opposite direction. The dead include the driver of the MUV. Wadi police have registerd a case.</p>
