CET results to be declared today

CBSE class X results may be announced tomorrow

As many as 1.2 lakh candidates had appeared for CET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on May 6 and 7.

The KEA will publish the ranklist inclusive of the CBSE and ISC results that were declared last week. The CET 2009 counselling is scheduled to begin on June 4 and this year it will be held at three centres - KEA premises Bangalore, Hubli and Gulbarga. The government decided to conduct the counselling in other centres for the benefit of North Karnataka candidates who comprise 30 percent of the total candidates who appear for CET.

The CET results will decide the admissions to the professional courses in Medicine, Dental, Ayurveda courses and Engineering.

CBSE Class X results

The Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X 2009 results may be declared on Tuesday or Wednesday. According to CBSE officials, the Class X results for Chennai Region may be declared on Tuesday or Wednesday in all possibility. The Class XII results for Chennai region was declared on May 20 and Delhi Region was announced on May 22.

This year more than eight lakh students had appeared for class 10 board exams which was held in March 2009 across the country.
