<p>Bangalore now has a showroom of Sandur Kushala Kala Kendra (SKKK), an NGO which produces and sells traditional Lambani art, craft and hosiery works of tribal women. <br /><br /></p>.<p>This is the first outlet opened by SKKK outside Sandur, Bellary district. Theatre personality Arundati Nag on Saturday inaugurated the showroom – Sandur Studios, which is housed in the Sandur Manganese and Iron Ore Limited office, near Safina Plaza.<br /><br /> It is open from 11 am to 7 pm through the week. A team of Lambani artists, who are members of the Kendra, were present to sell the craft works. Roohi Azam, design consultant of the SKKK, said, “Saris, skirts, blouses, accessories with mirror and thread work which are being sold at the Sandur showroom, would be sold at the studio too. Over 300 Lambani women are members of SKKK.”</p>
