FSL report yet to come

 The CID sleuths, probing the incident, are yet to receive a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory regarding a death note purportedly written by Nanditha.

“We are yet to receive the report and we are expecting an FSL report on the death note next week,” CID IGP Pronab Mohanty told Deccan Herald.

Reacting to reports that the FSL submitted a report stating that the letter was written by Nanditha, Mohanty said such reports are baseless and the police have absolutely no information on the issue. 

But sources in Shimoga police claimed that the FSL had confirmed that the death note was written by the girl. 

The handwriting in the suicide note has matched with that of the girl, they stressed. But the girl’s parents refuted it. “We knew the report will be against us. So we have demanded a CBI probe into the case.”
