Sources said Infosys Human Resource Director T V Mohandas Pai conveyed the investment plans to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here at a meeting on Tuesday evening.
While as many as 3,000 IT professionals were busy working at the first Infosys project in the state, he said about 5,000 workers would get placed at its second project which will come up at IT valley on the side of the National Highway no-5 between the state capital and Khurda town.
