<p>An Uttar Pradesh minister got so angry with a class 9 girl student of a government inter college during a surprise inspection that he allegedly turned abusive, shocking the staff.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Minister of State for Secondary Education Vijay Bahadur Pal, who conducted a surprise inspection at the government girls inter college in Banda town, about 200 kilometers from here, on Friday, allegedly used derogatory words at the teachers of the school.<br /><br />According to reports, Pal entered a classroom and asked the girls a question on fundamental rights as enshrined in the Constitution.<br /><br />One of the girls reportedly answered the question though she was only ‘partially correct’.<br /><br />The minister was so irked by the reply that he admonished the girl and asked her to take her seat.<br /><br />The girl insisted on saying something more regarding the question, but the minister allegedly turned abusive as he asked her to sit down.<br /><br />Pal then turned his attention toward the teachiers and scolded them for not taking their job seriously.<br /><br />The teachers said they teach such things on a daily basis but the students don’t learn.<br />“We also write such things on the blackboard,” said one of the teachers.<br /><br />“You better stick them (writings) on your heads,” the minister reportedly said angrily.<br />“The minister’s behaviour was really shocking,” said one of the teachers.<br /><br />A few days back, UP Minister for Secondary Education Mehboob Ali too had conducted a surprise inspection at a government school in Barabanki district and ordered suspension of a senior education official for wearing several gold rings and a ‘kada’ (bracelet).</p>
