Ebenezer in title round

Ebenezer International School set up a title clash with Delhi Public School in the KSCA inter-school under-16 tournament for Division I teams.

Ebenezer earned the right to have a shot at the title after taking a first innings lead against Vidyashilp on Friday. Rohan Nayakar (5/15) and Chinmaya (3/10) shared eight wickets between them as Ebenezer skittled Vidyashilp for 62 in 48.4 overs. Nayakar made a handy contribution with the bat (37) as well as Ebenezer replied with 76/2 in 16 overs when the match was called off.    
 In the other match, Delhi Public School made it to the final after winning the spin of coin. DPS, bating first, posted 212/7 in 83 overs while St Joseph’s Indian High School were 37/0 when the proceedings were halted, forcing the issue to be settled via the toss.   Brief scores (semifinals): Vidyashilp Academy: 62 all out in 48.4 overs (Rohan Nayakar 5-15, Chinmaya N 3-10) drew Ebenezer International School: 76/2 in 16 overs (Rohan Nayakar 37; Abhiram Vadlamani 2-29).

Delhi Public School: 212/7 in 83 overs (Shivakumar BU 95, Jay Shah 32, Aman Khan 40 n.o.; Prajwal Pavan 4-52) bt St Joseph’s Indian High School: 37/0 in 7 overs (Delhi Public School won the match by spin of coin).
