Anirbhan Roy Choudhary of the South Western Railways (SWR) and Swetha K of the Accountants General’s Office Recreation Club (AGORC) clinched the men’s and women’s title respectively in the CVL Sastry memorial State table tennis championship here on Sunday.
Choudhary defeated Shreyal K Telang 3-11, 11-9, 12-10, 18-16, 11-3, 11-7.
Shreyal however won the Youth boys title, defeating Vedanth M Urs 7-11, 11-8, 13-11, 12-10, 11-8 in the final.
Swetha K beat M V Spoorthi in the women’s final 11-5, 5-11, 11-4, 17-15, 5-11, 7-11, 11-6.
In the team event, Canara Bank defeated Second Life Solutions 3-2 to win top honours.
