Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday sought resignation of Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti for her reported hate speech.

Rahul, who arrived at a two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency of Amethi, said that the minister must be sacked.

Congress MPs had disrupted proceedings in both houses of Parliament on this issue.
The congress leader also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Adarsh Sansad Gram” project. “Where is the money going to come from for the project”, he asked while interacting with reporters in Amethi.

Rahul had led a protest demonstration by the party MPs at Parliament on Tuesday. The congress leader later met party workers in Amethi. Rahul will be taking part in the 10th anniversary of the Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital at Munshiganj on Thursday.
